SPECIALITIES
Celtic Spirit of Fastnet was designed and built by Pendennis Shipyard in England and actually launched as Beagle in 1993. She is a 23 meter ketch extremely seaworthy and has a strong sailing performance. She has undergone an extensive refit by Pendennis and is in better shape than ever. The yacht has cruised to Antarctica and around the world twice. She is an internationally recognized sailing yacht of true distinction and class.
There are few yachts in the world designed to safely cruise in any environment and comfortably circumnavigate the globe. Celtic Spirit of Fastnet, with her specially strengthened bow and illustrious cruising history is truly one of the finest blue water yachts on the planet.
In 2005 an experienced amateur crew from eight different countries and both hemispheres sailed from Ireland to Iceland and back aboard Celtic Spirit of Fastnet.
Then, in 2006, they sailed south to Antarctica and across the Southern Ocean before returning to Argentina in 2007. Together, they explored some of the wildest and most remote places on the planet, taking spectacular photographs of the barren and extreme landscapes, wildlife, and people they encountered.
